Camp Ridgecrest for Boys is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, just 20 minutes east of Asheville. The camp staff are passionate about helping campers grow the whole self: spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.
Opportunities for paid ministry are available in many different areas. We are currently seeking Outdoor Adventure Program Staff, including a Mountain Biking Coordinator and a Climbing Coordinator. These staff lead specialized activity areas and play a vital role in building relationships and sharing the gospel through daily interactions.
The role of Outdoor Adventure Staff is rooted in service, loving kids unconditionally, and sharing Christ in daily life. These positions require technical skill, a heart for ministry, and a commitment to safety and excellence in instruction.
Employment runs late May through early August. Staff receive food, lodging, and weekly pay based on experience and role. Applicants must be 18 and finished with their freshman year of college or equivalent.

Camp Hidden Meadows offers a coed summer camp in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.
Two to three afternoons a week, the Mountain Biking PAL will facilitate off-site trips for a group of 10-12 campers along with another Staff Member. The Mountain Biking PAL will have time each week for bike and trail maintenance, leading one-hour entry level activities for campers, and may chaperone other adventure trips as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with children, desire to make an impact on others, ability to create a communal living environment. Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution and teaching a plus.
